If you have seen one Beetle, you have seen them all.

Except, the thing missing from this museum was the Volkswagon Beetle. I don't understand it. They all look pretty much the same to me. Well, there was ONE Beetle, so I guess all is OK.

Check the photo album for a bunch more photos.

This is a GREAT commercial on youtube that you might like - Porsche 111 Diesel Cabriolet - a very special car needs a very special service.
You should watch it before you look at anything else. Everytime I watch it I crack up. Cause I know guys just like this one.
YouTube Video

This was a pretty good museum, but everything was Porsche or Porsche related. Some great examples, but, unless you are a real fan, then it was just a good museum, not great. Or maybe I had just seen SO MANY cars this week, as this was my last Car Museum this week. I think I was kinda burned out.

The Carbage Run - You know, Car and Garbage together?

This is one of the best exhibits, and it was in the parking garage. I first heard about the Carbage Run when I was talking to a Scuba Dive Master in one of the islands a few years ago. He was doing last years run. As I understand it, it is a classic car race for people who cannot afford classic cars. You have a limit/guideline on how much the car can be worth (currently 500 EU). You are given a challenge every morning. This is NOT a speed race. I don't know what the challenge was this day, but the car I saw yesterday said they were looking for 3 different colors of the BMW 3 Series car, whatever that is. I didn't even know BMW made cars, when did that start? Are they as good as the bikes? The colors were for some flag, I am assuming the Netherlands - Red-White-Blue, but he might have said the German Flag Black-Red-Yellow. Either way, one of the colors they were looking for is extremely rare. That is why I saw that car at Motor World, as there are some pretty rare versions of everything here, but they did not find the one they were looking for.

They like to decorate (pimp) their cars. The pimping is not included in the maximum worth. I saw a bunch of Mopeds, which are also allowed. I am not sure if the ones I saw were Carbage Run bikes, but they were decorated and could have been.

I don't know their route, but I have been seeing them for days all over the place.

Oh, Yeah, Porsche. There were some great designs.

And some Wow designs.

Some Racers

And ONE Beeetle

I have seen a few of these on the road around here. Anyone remember the Volkswagon "Thing". Too bad that did not have the 4-wheel drive running gear this beast has.

This is the 1 Millionth Sports car produced by Porsche. To celebrate, Porsche made it into a Police car and donated it to the cops. They used it for quite a while, then when it reached it's end of life, it was donated right back.

I would rather see the red one in my mirror.

If I saw this one in my mirror I would find that Police car and request a Breathalyzer. Yes, this was Sally Carrera from the Disney film Cars. They even modified the roof line and shortened the car to fit the movie profile better.

Porsche got started in the Electric Car industry. He designed the motor amongst other things, if I remember correctly from what I read.

Aparently, this is some really great driving car. It has 4 wheels and doesn't lean. Not a very useful vehicle in my book. Chop two of those wheels off, but keep the monster engine and NOW we are talking.

Look Familiar? Similar but not the same as you have seen before. And if you did not see the YouTube video, you should watch it now.
