Well, I GIVE UP. I just cannot keep up with myself on this trip with my stories and photos etc.

In the past I would wait until I got home to write, or at least publish, my stories. I no longer have a home and am continuously moving, so sitting down to write one of my dissertations is impossible on a day to day basis

I plan to create summaries of where I have been and what I have done, but with only a few pics and less words. Later, when there is time, I will put longer articles on my website, and links them on my Blog. This site is always evolving.

My Web Page is more for ME.  It allows me to have fun writing, and to have a record for reference and remembrance.     Kind of like a scrapbook.   My Blog will be for you, for those that actually want to see where I am and what I am doing.   If you want to be kept informed, use the link to the side (or bottom on a phone) to subscribe.   PotatoBook sucks, and e-mailing out reminders is hard to do frequently.

The thing I like least about Wordpress is that I cannot properly edit a document off-line. None of the off-line editors handle photos the same way. I want the photo you are seeing to be of smaller size, so it loads fast but I want a link to the original if you are so inclined.

Last I left you, I was in Czechia, having seen the Church of Bones I was heading towards Prague. I took as many back roads as possible, and saw a lot of the real world.

For anyone that knows me, I REALLY hate cities.   I go to cities because there are things to see there that really should not be missed. ANY city I have ever ridden my bike to is a SH*T HOLE.     Every one. Well, to start.   After I am settled in, had a shower, walked around a bit, they grow on me.   Not that I EVER actually really like them, but I like them well enough, as they offer enough to offset the hordes of people and smells and noise.    In recent times, the quickest city to grow on me is Oslo, Norway.   It is clean, happy, easy to walk, and, well, the way a city should be.   I still don't like it.  It is a city.   But if I had to live in a city, and it was not cold in Oslo in the winter, I would be content.

The next few days are all about cities. Did I mention I don't like cities?

I went to Prague and stayed in a nice Hotel for a great price for 3 nights.   My main activity was wandering around the city.   It was a sh*t Hole when I got there, but after a little wandering around it grew on me.   I liked this city.   If I had to compare to places local to home, I would call this one Boston.

There were Hordes of walking tour people getting in the way all over the city.  Prague Castle is one of those things you have to see if you are in the area.  It is not the best part of the city, but it is a requirement.   There are a lot of parts to the castle area, the Prague Castle itself is just a small portion of it.   It is an interesting place to walk around and great views.

Did I say that THIS post would be short?   Nope, maybe the next one.

Prague Castle was closed until 12:30 for an event but you could wander around the other parts of the area, so when the castle opened up, the line was crazy.  It wrapped around the castle and went down the road.  There are other places to see.

The walk up the tower was pretty interesting.   Great view, not a lot of tourists, ALL of them huffing and puffing, trying to work off their buffet lunch.

The Lobkowiz collection

The Lobkowiz collection   which is on the castle grounds was pretty great. It is self billed as the "Best Museum in Prague" I didn't go to many museums, so it has my vote. It had a wide assortment of things to interest almost anyone.  And almost everyone passes right by.   It was almost empty of tourists.

Weapons of all kinds and vintage.

Most of the city did not have a lot of tourists.   There is a lot of room for all of them.   The main areas were pretty busy though.
