104’F in the shade

Yes, my thermometer went as high as 104’F in the shade, while moving. Of course, the shade was from two trucks.

I took a roundabout way to Montreal, and ended up choosing routes that had a lot of construction. Not what I wanted in the heat. Almost the whole way up it was in the lower 90’s, with some jumps as high as 104’F. I was really glad that the A/C worked at the hotel, and that I had not planned on dealing with getting the bike inspected today.

I chose the hotel I did because it was near the airport, an important thing with all the construction around Montreal, and the proximity to restaurants. Next time, remind me to look up what restaurants are there. The hotel was nice, but the neighborhood where the restaurants were was not. Nor were the restaurants. It was convenient for the work I had to do though. It all worked out, as I had a lot of research to do, and did not really want to go out anyway. There was a bar, so life was good.
